NEUROLEADERSHIP IN POLITICS

Course Introduction

The ALSS Neuroleadership in Politics is an 8-hour interactive course offered by the Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland, Zurich. This course is designed to develop skills for effective leadership in politics. Effective leadership is essential to the success in politics. Organizations need valuable leaders who are able to support them to achieve their goals. This course focuses on the theory and practice of neuroleadership in politics. It is designed to enable participants to understand the basic concepts and develop the analytical skills necessary for effective leadership in politics. Participants will explore their own leadership, personality, and cognitive styles and learn how these can influence the performance of others.

  • Tutorial fees for the whole course:
    CHF 490 to be paid twoweeks before starting the course
  • Start Terms: Every first Thursday of the month; ongoing intake; 4 classes per Zoom every Thursday from 18:00 to 20:00 Swiss time

Course Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
Develop a greater understanding how the brain works and how to optimize ist
performance in politics.
Understand the concept of Neuroleadership and ist impact on performance improvement.
Recognize the importance of Çitaku's neuroleadership competency model in politics.
Better understand the role that social responsibility, and innovation, selfmanagement, task-management and justice orientation play in forming
outstanding leaders in politics.
Think critically, strategically and reflectively to enhance personal and team
performance.
Improve team collaboration, decision-making, creativity, insight, and
engagement.
Become prepared as a potential leader to be more discerning about how to
enact the role of leader within your organization.

Lecturer

Prof. Dr. Fadil Çitaku, PhD, MME (Unibe)
Prof. Dr. Fadil Çitaku is a professor of Neuroleadership and Emotional Intelligence at the Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland (ALSS). He is the founder and CEO of the
ALSS, founder and director of the graduate program Doctorate in Medical Education (DME)
and professor of PHD program in Medical Education.
Prof. Çitaku has been teaching in graduate and postgraduate programs for more than 23 years and has experience in developing curricula and projects in Switzerland and abroad.
He is a supervisor for trainee teachers at the prestigious ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich) Switzerland and co-founder of the Center of Excellence for Neuroleadership Innovation and Quality at RAK University, RAKCODS, UAE and ALSS,
Switzerland. He has been contributing to many international prestigious conferences as a keynote speaker and has been teaching and supervising many key leaders and institutes of healthcare, higher education, business, politics, and sports.
