Course Introduction
The ALSS Neuroleadership in Nursing is an 8-hour interactive course offered by the Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland, Zurich. This course is designed to develop skills for effective leadership in nursing.
Effective leadership is essential to the success in nursing. Organizations need valuable leaders who are able to support them to achieve their goals.
This course focuses on the theory and practice of neuroleadership in nursing. It is designed to enable participants to understand the basic concepts and develop the analytical skills necessary for effective leadership in nursing.
Participants will explore their own leadership, personality, and cognitive styles and learn how these can influence the performance of others.

- Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Develop a greater understanding how the brain works and how to optimize ist performance in nursing.
- Understand the concept of Neuroleadership and ist impact on performance
improvement. - Recognize the importance of Çitaku’s leadership competency model in nursing.
- Better understand the role that social responsibility, and innovation, selfmanagement, task-management and justice orientation play in forming outstanding leaders in nursing.
- Think critically, strategically and reflectively to enhance personal and team
performance. - Improve team collaboration, decision-making, creativity, insight, and engagement.
- Become prepared as a potential leader to be more discerning about how to enact the role of leader within your organization.
