Course Introduction
The course “Risk Management for Sporting Events” is an 8-hours online course, offered by the Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland.
The course is designed and delivered by recognized experts in this field. It is being offered as an open course and can be attended by anyone who is, or aspires to get, involved in the industry of sports – including sports administrators, Event Organizers and Managers, Coaches and Trainers, Venue Managers, Security Personnel, Legal Professionals, Insurance Professionals, Students and Academics, Government and Regulatory Bodies, current and former athletes, among others.

The course covers specific topics on sport-related issues including Introduction to Risk Management, Practical Application of Risk Management, Insurance, Safeguarding, National versus international events, Amateur versus professional competitions, and other topics.

- Duration of the Course: 8 hours, delivered on 27, 28, 29, and 30 of April at 6pm Swiss Time (2 hour live webinar each day)

- Tutorial fees for the whole course: CHF 590 to be paid at least three days before the course starts

Accreditation & Certification
The Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland (ALSS) is an international education institution that offers continuing education, further education, and post graduate advanced education courses, workshops and programs focusing on advanced studies in Leadership and Management. The ALSS also offers short courses that are not credit-bearing, and do not lead to formal qualifications. All attendees who participate in the “Risk Management for Sporting Events” course will be awarded certificates of successful completion by the ALS.
