INTRODUCTION TO SPORTS DEVELOPMENT
Course Introduction
The course Introduction to Sports Development is a four-week open course (every Tuesday two hours online), offered by the Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland.
The course is designed and delivered by recognized experts in this field. It is being offered as an open online course and can be attended by anyone who is, or aspires to get, involved in the industry of sports – including administrators working in sports organizations, such as sports federations or clubs, club presidents, directors, and managers, former athletes, students, Athletes and Player Representatives, among others.
Course Content
The course covers specific topics on sport-related issues including the fundamentals of sports development, sports promotion and policy, sports management and organization, talent identification and development, effective training methods, technology and innovation in sports, sustainability practices, and best practices from successful sports development projects, and other topics.

- Duration of the Course: 4 weeks (October 15, and 22,29, and November 5, two hours webinar at 18h00 CET)

- Study Options: 100 % online per Zoom
- Tutorial fees for the whole course: CHF 790 to be paid at least one week before the course starts.
- Admission Requirements: Anyone who is, or aspires to get, involved in the industry of sports can enrol for this course.
