Testimonials
In my opinion, providing comprehensive education to coaches today requires incorporating some sensitive topics, such as safeguarding or anti-doping. I think that a basic understanding of sports law is necessary if one is working among these lines. The “Introduction to Sports Law (for Non-Lawyers)” course delivered what I was looking for: I got a very good overview of the regulatory mechanisms of sports. The seminars were easy to follow, and the topics were presented in a way that non-lawyers can also understand – just as promised. Thank you, Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland, and especially Petra Pocrnic Perica, PhD, LL.M. for the opportunity!
Istvan Jankov– Coach Education Manager
I very much appreciated the short course on Sports law for non-lawyers, both for the content and how it was held. Learning about the foundations and the legal principles regulating sports – including the fact that it is continuously evolving – has allowed me to better understand and appreciate certain decision processes. This will also help me when representing my country’s sport federation at international meetings and congresses, be it for presenting our submissions or for voting.
Pia Björk– Member of national sport federation
