MISSION

The PhD in Leadership in International Sports Law and Governance at the Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland is an interdisciplinary doctoral program designed to prepare highly qualified leaders, researchers, legal professionals, executives, and decision-makers for the international sports sector. The program responds to the growing need for professionals who can combine advanced knowledge of sports law and governance with neuroleadership, emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, ethical decision-making, institutional integrity, and evidence-based management. Designed in accordance with the academic and professional needs of its participants, the program provides individuals currently working in, or aspiring to leadership positions within, international sport with the conceptual, legal, regulatory, analytical, leadership, and research competencies required for responsible and effective leadership.
The program prepares graduates for senior positions in international and national sports federations, professional clubs, leagues, governing bodies, athlete organizations, regulatory institutions, law firms, governmental bodies, non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, and other organizations operating within the global sports ecosystem.
